The device which detects the smell better than how humans sense smell is basically a digital nose. Meanwhile, there is also an electronic nose which has mechanism that helps to detect chemicals. Technically, digital nose compares any smell to human way of sensing smell with the help of sensor arrays along with pattern recognition systems. The digital nose technology has been made or used to identify flavours and odours.
